Kamuss Matis Benjamin is an Environmental Expert/Engineer, he began his career in the Began his Career in Coffman Engineers as a field expert and seismic survey specialist and has subsequently worked as a structural design engineer, project engineer and works supervisor.
Having recently returned to university to complete His Masters in Structural E & Geotechnical Engineering in Massachusetts Institute of Technology MIT majoring in Seismology and Geophysics In his quest to adding value to humanity and creating creatures safety and comfort he delved imto earthquake early detection and land tremor evaluation, vibration monitoring and tracking behaviours of fault line grid.
Seismic Refraction and Subsurface mapping to identify soil and rock conditions. Also stretching his interest to pre-blast surveys documenting existing conditions of structures before excavation and geotechnical detailing and assessing of ground conditions for earthquake prevention structures. He has a passion for implementing cutting edge technology and techniques to everyday engineering problems, and believes that there are many Geotechnical methods that can be applied by Environmental engineers which can make their job easier & more effective. Kamuss Matis also attends and presents at numerous geophysical and geotechnical conferences throughout the United States. Asia and the world each year.
